I've been wanting to photograph the new Cooperage Building in Brewery Square for some time. I arrived just before official sunset time and scouted around for a composition I liked.
I wasn't happy with the first photograph I took (below) - the car on the right hand side is a distraction for me:

A few minutes later some great shadows were created as the light dropped. I moved position but again the car is a distraction for me:

I moved again and settled on this photograph showing in the main gallery using a small aperture to create a starburst effect in the lights.
As an alternative, I cropped the photograph square:
Waiting until the light dropped sufficiently certainly paid off!
